{"id":166,"date":"2021-10-20T20:29:00","date_gmt":"2021-10-20T20:29:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/srv1301618.hstgr.cloud\/?p=166"},"modified":"2026-08-19T19:01:28","modified_gmt":"2026-08-19T11:01:28","slug":"announcing-the-erc-training-grants","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/srv1301618.hstgr.cloud\/announcing-the-erc-training-grants\/","title":{"rendered":"Announcing the ERC Training Grants"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>NOTE: GRANT APPLICATIONS ARE CLOSED FOR 2023<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Environmental Reporting Collective are offering training grants for journalists and newsrooms to organise self-tailored training programmes for themselves, but which are also open to other ERC partner newsrooms and journalists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Grantees will organise the training themselves, with assistance from the ERC Core Team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We\u2019re offering three grants with a total of US$2,500 each.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Applications will be open between 21 Oct and 20 Nov 2021 and the training programme should be conducted during the month of December 2021.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-content-justification-center is-layout-flex wp-container-core-buttons-is-layout-35f06ea7 wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/ArRb4fscSfFW5UBD6\">Apply Now<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Here\u2019s what you need to know:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>News organisations, training providers and journalism-related organisations from all over the world are welcomed to apply.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applicants will be required to submit a training proposal (maximum 300 words), including an itemised budget.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The training programme should target journalists as participants and is open for other ERC partner newsrooms and journalists to participate.
